Please join us for Clean Water Day on Wednesday, March 29th at the Vermont State House.

We are bringing people together from across the state to celebrate our waters, and to call on our lawmakers to invest in this invaluable resource.

At 8:30 a.m. we will start gathering at the Pavilion Auditorium (109 State Street, Montpelier) right next to the Vermont State House for an overview of what’s happening in the state on clean water, and a brief training on how to be a powerful voice in support of clean water. At 10:15 a.m., we will walk over together to the State House to make our voices heard at a press conference and in meetings with our legislators.

Parking is available at the following locations:

  • Department of Labor in back lots closest to Winooski River and bike path. 5-10 minute walk via bike path to Pavilion building. Free.
  • Public parking lots (Click here for map). Paid.

Clean Water Day Agenda


8:30 a.m. – Pavilion Auditorium-109 State Street, Montpelier.

9:00 a.m. – Welcome, introductions, and goals for the day.

  • Overview of the issues
  • What’s happening at the State House
  • How to have a great meeting with your legislator

10:15 a.m. – Walk together to State House

10:45 a.m. – Cedar Creek Room press conference.

11:30 a.m. – Gather in Room 10 to prepare for meetings. At this time attendees will have the option of recording short video testimonies of why they care about clean water.

12:00 p.m. – Legislator meetings. Attendees will schedule lunch meetings with legislators.
