VCV-endorsed candidates won big yesterday. Sue Minter secured the democratic nomination for Governor, and 14 out of 15 House and Senate candidates endorsed by VCV won their primary races.
In the high-profile Governor’s race, Vermont Conservation Voters played a key role in Sue Minter’s strong performance yesterday. We endorsed her candidacy as the clean energy and climate champion at a strategic moment in the campaign, and ran an online ad campaign that reached more than 65,000 Vermonters heading into election day. Ultimately, primary voters agreed that Sue is the candidate that offers the most compelling vision for Vermont’s future.
Now comes the hard part.
