WHAT: Businesses for Climate Action Day
VBSR, Seventh Generation, SunCommon, and VPIRG have partnered to deliver a powerful
message to Vermont legislators in support of bold climate action.
WHY: Impact Climate-Related Legislation in VT
The future of our climate is the future of our economy. If you want to make a difference, bringing
your voice to the Statehouse is one of the most impactful things you can do.
WHEN: Thursday, February 1, 2024
On Thursday, February 1, from 9:30 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. participants will have ample
opportunity to learn, take action, and network.
WHERE: Montpelier, VT (Various Locations)
From the State House Pavilion to the State House Cedar Creek Room to the Three Penny
Taproom, participants will have an impact – all within a walkable .3 mile area.

o Leaders of VBSR member organizations will discuss the day ahead, get briefed
on the issues at play this session, and learn about advocacy opportunities.
● Business Leaders – Press Conference
o 11:00 – 11:30 AM | Cedar Creek Room, Vermont State House, Second Floor
o Leaders of VBSR member organizations will join VBSR and VPIRG to urge
legislators, other businesses, and the people of Vermont to support bold climate
action this legislative session.
● Business Leaders – Coordinated Meetings with Legislators
o 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM | Various locations in the State House building
o In meetings with legislators, leaders of VBSR member organizations will urge
them to support bold climate action this legislative session.
● Climate-Focused Professional Development
o 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM | RSVP for details
o Join other employees of Vermont businesses for an afternoon of professional
development designed to drive bold climate action in our state.
