Montpelier, VT – Vermont Conservation Voters today announced its endorsement of David

Zuckerman for Lieutenant Governor of Vermont.

“David Zuckerman has been a long-time champion working to protect Vermont’s air, water and land,” said Lauren Hierl, Political Director for Vermont Conservation Voters. “In his years serving in both the Vermont House and Senate, he advocated for numerous policies to promote clean water, tackle global warming, maintain healthy forests, and more. We are confident he will bring to the Lieutenant Governor’s office his strong environmental ethic and his ability to work with diverse constituencies to get things done. That’s why we’re pleased to endorse David today.”

“In my years as an organic farmer and in the Legislature I have worked tirelessly in support of a clean, healthy environment,” said Zuckerman. “I am honored to have Vermont Conservation Voters’ endorsement, and as lieutenant governor, I pledge to continue leading on climate change solutions, clean water, and other environmental priorities.”

Vermont Conservation Voters will be working to help Zuckerman get elected as Vermont’s next Lieutenant Governor.

“David knows that a healthy environment underpins a healthy economy, communities, and families. He will bring his vision for a better Vermont to the Lieutenant Governor’s office, and we know he will work hard to make his positive vision a reality,” added Hierl.

VCV will release additional endorsements in the coming weeks for candidates for other elected offices.

Vermont Conservation Voters serves as the political arm for Vermont’s environmental community, working to elect pro-environment candidates, and once in office, to hold lawmakers accountable.
